Beach Film Festival is proud to announce that it was invited to participate as a panelist at the 26th Euro-Mediterranean Cinema Conference “Mobile Cinema: A New Koine for Young Euro-Mediterraneans to Foster Peace and Tolerance,” which took place on 06.09.2024. within the framework of the 81st Venice Film Festival. The event, organized by the International Council on Cinema and Television (CICT-ICFT) of UNESCO, aims to explore the potential of mobile cinema as a new means of cultural dialogue, cooperation and fostering peace among young people in the Mediterranean region. Ana Opačić, Director of Beach Film Festival, was one of the panelists, along with prominent figures from the film industry and cultural organizations, who shared their visions for the future of cinema and its role in social change.
