Jovana Jovičić

Jovana Jovičić is a producer of features and documentary films from Belgrade, Serbia. She is a founder of the production company Lucha and she collaborates with Centar Film, one of the leading production and distribution companies in former Yugoslavia. She is a producer of films and projects in development which won awards at international festivals and co-production markets. She graduated in Management and Production in Theatre, Radio, and Culture at The Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. Her award-winning project The Talentless, a debut film by Radivoje Rasha Bukvić won The Chainsaw Europe Award at Transilvania Pitch Stop 2021; Romania. Also, the project was selected for international co-production markets such as m: brane Financing Forum; Sweden, Kids Kino Industry; Poland, and Sofia Meetings; Bulgaria. Her award-winning project The Eight, a documentary film by Danilo Ceković, was part of the Ex Oriente program 2021 and won the DocsBarcelona Award at The East Doc Platform Workshop 2022; Czech Republic. Furthermore, she is a producer of the award-winning project Bloom, a short feature film by Tamara Broćić, which won several industry awards, such as The European Short Pitch Award 2023; France, and the Lights On Award at ShorTS Development & Pitching Training 2022 ; Italy. The project Bloom was selected for Euro Connection during the Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival 2023; France. She was an executive producer on the film Kreka: Dreamcatcher (2021) by Slobodan Ivetić, a documentary about one of the most prominent production designers Miljen Kljaković Kreka, as well as on the feature-length film A.S. (25) (2019) by Milena Grujić, which was released in commercials theatres in Serbia. Also, she produced the award-winning short film Last call (2016) by the same director and others.
